So I want to first start off this post by saying that while the last post and this one is negative, overall, I really enjoy the car. While it’s by no means a Luxury car, it is a Technology driven vehicle.
But this is something to consider when buying a Tesla that potential future owners should know.
I recently got a flat tire. I looked at my Tire pressure sensor and saw that my PSI was at 18 which is not good since the tires should be closer to 45 in the winter.
I took the car to Canadian Tire.
I spoke with the advisor who mentioned that they would try to squeeze me in to fix the tire. When he asked for my keys, i handed over my Tesla Keycard.

The advisor was very confused that I was trying to pay without them even touching the car. (Guess he figured it was a VISA or Mastercard) After I explained to him, it was my key, i knew it wasn’t going to be a positive experience.
I was then told that they do not service Tesla vehicles and there was nothing they could do for me.
I tried explaining, the issue is a winter tire, and that it shouldn’t matter what type of car it is. But the answer was: no.
So word to the wise, Canadian Tire and Teslas are not friends.
